The first conference on millimeter-wave and terahertz technologies, organized by The Center of Excellence on Radio Communication Systems of Amirkabir University of Technology and The Center of Excellence on Applied Electromagnetic Systems of University of Tehran, will be held in Amirkabir University of Technology.

The conference provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange research results and share development experiences. Technical papers describing original works in research, development, and application of millimeter-wave and terahertz technologies are solicited.

  • Department of Electrical Engineering, AUT For nearly 50 years, continues to rank as one of the most prestigious electrical engineering programs in the country and at the international level.
  • Damavand Mount Highest peak in Iran with a special place in Persian mythology and folklore. In the middle Alborz Range, it is the highest point in the Middle East and the highest volcano in all of Asia.
  • Abu Ali Sina (980-1037) was a Persian polymath and the foremost physician and philosopher of his time. Sina is regarded as a father of modern medicine and clinical pharmacology.
  • Milad Tower Tallest tower in Iran. Built in between the Shahrak-e Gharb and Gisha districts of Tehran, it stands 435m high from base to tip of the antenna.
  • Azadi (Freedom) Tower Symbol of Tehran, marks the entrance to the city. Built in 1971, it is 50m tall and is completely clad in cut marble. Azadi Tower combines Sassanid and Islamic architecture styles.
  • Al Khwarazmi (780-850) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer and scholar. He is considered the founder of algebra. Algorithm is the Latin form of his name.
